THE DAY OF THE INSTITUTE FOR ONCOLOGY AND RADIOLOGY OF SERBIA

Belgrade, 23 September 2005 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today the celebration of the Day of the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia, the National Cancer Research Institute www.ncrc.ac.yu.

Among the guests also were Mr. Tomica Milosavljevic, Minister of Health of the Republic of Serbia, academician Vladeta Jerotic, representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the University of Belgrade, as well as the representatives of the Institute for Oncology and Radiology, and its Director Prof. Nenad Borojevic.

Crown Prince Alexander said that Their Royal Highnesses are honored to be at the Institute for whose foundation his ancestors Their Majesties King Alexander I and Queen Maria, are meritorious as the patrons.

“My wife and I are continuing the tradition of donating and helping our health care system because we believe that it is our holy duty. Our future lies with our healthy people and children”-HRH Crown Prince Alexander II said.
