CONGRATULATIONS LETTER TO THE NEWLY APPOINTED CHIEF OF STAFF OF THE ARMY OF SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO

Belgrade, October 7, 2005 - His Royal Highness Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to the newly appointed Chief of Staff of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro, General Major Ljubisa Jokic.

“It is my pleasure and honour to extend to you my most sincere congratulations on your appointment to the position of the Chief of Staff of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro. I am sure that you will fulfill this important duty placed upon you conscientiously and responsibly, because our country is in need of stability and peace, as well as highly professional work on achieving the more secure future of our people.

I wish to let you know that you can count on my full support in your efforts towards accomplishing goals that your function places upon you”- The Crown Prince emphasized in his congratulations.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II also congratulated the outgoing Chief of Staff of the Army of Serbia and Montenegro, General-Major Dragan Paskas, who will be retiring. In his letter Prince Alexander said:

“I highly appreciate the efforts you made to build the security and stability of our country and for our people, all in order to preserve its integrity and to provide peaceful sleep for all our citizens.”
