ON THE OCCASION OF THE DEVASTATING EARTHQUAKE IN PAKISTAN

Belgrade, October 9, 2005 – On the occasion of the devastating earthquake that hit South Asia, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended a letter of condolence to Mr. Arshad Saud Khosa, Charge d’Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Pakistan in Belgrade.

“It was with great grief that I received the news about the catastrophic earthquake that occured on Saturday, 8 October in Pakistan. I am truly shaken by this tragic event in which tens of thousands of people lost their lives. Please pass my deepest condolences to the Government of Pakistan and to the families who lost their loved ones in this tragedy”.
