IMPORTANT INFORMATION
REGARDING THE ARTICLE IN THE
BELGRADE MAGAZINE “STORY”
Please note that the
Agence France Presse (AFP)
misinterpreted the article from the
Belgrade magazine “Story” under the
headline ‘How to Become Princess in
Serbia – Princess Wanted’.
The article was put
on The Royal Family website both in
Serbian and in English in the press
release section purely as a press
clipping.
The press release
only containing the article and no
more was also sent via e-mail as a
routine to our website subscribers
as it is always done when an article
dealing with The Royal Family
appears in either local or foreign
media.
In both cases it was
made clear that the article was
published purely as a story about
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Peter,
Prince Philip and Prince Alexander
with incorporated brief interviews
with them and not as an
advertisement for marriage as the
AFP reporter interpreted.
The article is not
intended to solicit any inquiries
for marriage. Their Royal Highnesses
are not intending to get married at
this time.
In order to avoid any
further misinterpretation, we
updated our website press release /
press clipping section with a remark
on top of the article stressing
again it was merely an article from
the Belgrade magazine ‘’Story’’.
The AFP has informed
us that they have issued a
correction.
We have received
thousands of emails and we would
kindly request, please, that no more
emails be sent regarding this
matter.
Finally, there will
be no interviews regarding this
matter.
Thank you very much
for your understanding.
