RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF THE HELLENIC
MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
Belgrade, October 24, 2005 –
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine hosted tonight a reception
at the White Palace in honour of the
Hellenic Management Association
(HMA).
It was organised in honour of
this non-profit organisation and in
support of its aims such as a
dissemination, development and
promotion of the principles, methods
and practice of contemporary
management.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II
greeted the guests while His
Excellency Hristos Panagopulos, the
Greek Ambassador to Belgrade,
expressed gratitude to Their Royal
Highnesses for their consistent work
on bringing Serbia and Greece,
including their business communities
closer.
The other guests included Ms.
Litsa Panayotopoulou, the HMA
President, Mr. Tanasis Roulias, the
HMA General Director, Mr. Simeon
Tsomokos, the HMA General Manager
for Serbia, HE Milan Parivodic,
Serbian Minister for Foreign
Economic Relations, the Serbian
National Bank Governor Mr. Radovan
Jelasic and representatives of the
largest Serbian companies, Serbian
and international organisations, as
well as representatives of
international and Greek companies
located in Belgrade.
“The HMA exists for 45 years and
has 4,000 members. We work very well
in Greece and our aim is to offer
our experience to Serbian
businessmen,“ said Ms.
Panayotopoulos.
Minister Parivodic said that it
was “of great interest for Serbia to
have a systematic way for breeding
managers who would then fight in the
global business arena.”
The reception was an opportunity
for the business community leaders
to exchange experiences and explore
the possibilities for future
cooperation.
