THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT IKARBUS
CELEBRATION
Belgrade, November 19, 2005 –
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess
Katherine attended last night the
82nd anniversary celebration of
Ikarbus, Serbia’s largest busses and
big vehicles manufacturer.
The factory, which was founded in
1923, during the reign of HM King
Alexander I, the Crown Prince’s
grandfather, has in the last several
years substantially increased its
production and extended its business
across Serbia’s borders.
“You have proved that those who
combine tradition and modern way of
conducting business are usually the
most successful ones,” Crown Prince
Alexander II said at the ceremony,
wishing the company even brighter
future.
Amongst other guests who attended
the celebration were Mr. Slobodan
Milosavljevic, the President of
Serbia’s Chamber of Commerce, their
excellences, ambassadors of the
countries where Ikarbus foreign
business partners come from, a
number of domestic companies’
representatives and many public
figures.
Earlier, HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II extended his
congratulations for the Ikarbus
anniversary in a letter to Mr.
Srecko Nijemcevic, the comapny's
General Director.
