the International Day of Disabled Persons

Belgrade, December 2, 2005 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II sent a letter of support to Mr. Lance Clark, UNDP Resident Representative and UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia and Montenegro on the occasion of the International Day of Disabled Persons, 3 December 2005.

“My wife and I wish to express our full support for the ideals of the World Organization and its actions aimed at full integration of the disabled and vulnerable people into society” - said The Crown Prince in his letter of support.

The Crown Prince said that Their Royal Highnesses hoped they would continue a successful cooperation with all the bodies of the United Nations sharing the same aim of making Serbia and Montenegro a better place to live in for everyone.

Their Royal Highnesses also extended their congratulations to Mr. Clark, for the official beginning of his new appointment in Belgrade as UNDP Resident Representative and UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia and Montenegro, and wished him a warmest personal welcome to Serbia and Montenegro.
