ENTRANCE OF THE MOST HOLY THEOTOKOS – SLAVA OF THE CHILANDAR MONASTERY MOUNT ATHOS GREECE

Belgrade, 5 December 2005 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II has sent his greetings yesterday to the brotherhood of Chilandar Monastery Mount Athos Greece on the occasion of the Monastery’s Slava - Entrance of the Most Holy Thetokos into the Temple.

“I am sending my warm-hearted greetings today, when all Orthodox people celebrate the Entrance of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple of the Lord, and when it is the Serbian Imperial Laura’s on Mount Athos Slava.

I wish you to spend this Holy day in omnipresent peace and under protection of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, which is of invaluable spiritual importance for our conciliarity and faith.

Wishing that our Holy Chilandar Monastery will be a beacon of the Orthodox faith through the Eternity, please accept my most sincere greetings” - the Crown Prince has stressed in his letter of greetings.
