Belgrade”, which has been organised

the Serbian Orthodox Church.
In the crowded atrium of the
museum the ceremony began with the
Serbian hymn “Boze Pravde”, after
which the present were addressed by
Reverent Fr. Milan Jankovic, Prof.
Dr. Miodrag Jovanovic, one of book
editors, Professor Branko Pesic,
Proto-Master of the St.Sava’s
Cathedral in Belgrade (1968-1996),
and member of the Advisory Bodies of
The Crown, Prof. Dr. Vojislav
Milovanovic, Proto-Master of the
St.Sava’s Cathedral in Belgrade,

the
Saint Sava’ Cathedral and recall
all the difficulties that
accompanied the building which lasts
for over one hundred years now.
“Today, presenting this book when
a part of the Cathedral is done, and
part of it is still to be finished,
we have a work in front of us that
is in the same time a record about
arising and painstaking path of
realisation of an idea, and
projection of what else we can yet
expect”, pointed out Mr. Acovic, and
reminded that this cathedral is “one
of the signposts on the way on which
we are leaded by Saint Sava as his
children”.
The ceremony ended with a hymn to
Saint Sava performed by the choir
“Mokranjac”.
