TESLA ORDER FOR MAIN SERBIAN
CHILDREN HOSPITAL
Belgrade, December 21, 2005 – HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II extended
his congratulations to Professor
Zoran Krstic, PhD, Director of the
University Children Clinic in
Tirsova Street, Belgrade, on
being decorated with the Order of
Tesla Second Class for 80 years of
existence, which this main Serbian
children hospital will be presented
today.
Along with an apology for Their
Royal Highnesses’ absence from the
ceremony, The Crown Prince wished
the Clinic and Director Krstic a
successful future work.
HE Tomica Milosavljevic, PhD, the
Minister of Health in the Serbian
Government, will present the Order.
The representatives of HRH Crown
Princess Katherine Foundation will
attend the ceremony on behalf of
Their Royal Highnesses.
Eighty years ago, HM Queen Marie,
the wife of HM King Alexander I, and
the grandmother of HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II, assigned money from
her funds for the building of the
Children Hospital in Tirsova Street,
while HRH Crown Prince Katherine has
been the honorary patron of the
Clinic since March 2002.
