THE JEWISH HOLIDAY – HANUKAH CONGRATULATIONS

Belgrade, 30 December 2005 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to H.E. the Ambassador of Israel Mrs. Jafa Ben – Ari for the Jewish holiday Hanukah.

“I convey my warmest congratulations to you and to all members of the Jewish community for Hanukah, a great celebration of Light.

Let this holiday encourage our spirit of community and direct us to the path of our Lord, hoping that the eternal light of the Creator’s wisdom will light up our lives”.

The Crown Prince also sent congratulations for the Hanukah holiday to the President of the Union of the Jewish municipalities Mr. Aca Singer, the Great Rabbi of Serbia and Montenegro Mr. Isaac Asiel, the President of the Novi Sad Jewish municipality Mrs. Ana Frenkel, the President of the Subotica Jewish municipality Mr. Robert Sabados, the President of the Belgrade Jewish municipality Mr. Raka Levi and the President of the Banja Luka Jewish municipality Mr. Joseph Atijas.
