DIPLOMATIC INTERNATIONAL CUISINE DINNER AT THE WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, 17 January 2006 – Their Royal Highnesses Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted an evening of International Cuisine at The White Palace tonight.

This traditional event was attended by over thirty Embassies accredited to Serbia and Montenegro, and they presented the wealth of the countries they come from with their traditional dishes and desserts.

The Crown Prince warmly welcomed the esteemed diplomatic guests. He pointed out that this is a great opportunity to get to know similarities and differences between our country and other counties and expressed his gratitude to Their Excellences the Ambassadors for everything they do for our country.

For guests and hosts, as a special surprise, AKUD “LOLA” performed a selection of dances from Serbia and the rest evening was more beautiful thanks to music performed by “Eclipso bend” from Belgrade.

Besides Their Excellences from the Embassies of Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, France, Greece, Holland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, Congo, Korea, Lebanon, Hungary, Pakistan, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, at the night of International Cuisine were also present chiefs of the foreign missions in our country, Mr. Zoran Sami, Speaker of the Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, as well as the members of the Advisory Bodies of the Crown.
