“FEST” BELGRADE FILM FESTIVAL

24th February 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II attended the grand opening ceremony of FEST and the projection of “Broken Flowers” movie by Jim Jarmush in Sava Centre.

The Crown Prince was pleased that the director of “Broken Flowers” has remained consequent to his work. “Broken Flowers” were presented at The Cannes Film Festival and won the best directing Grand Prix of the festival.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander met before the opening with Mr. Emir Kusturica, the famous movie director and a great friend of HRH, H. E. Mr. Aleksey Andreev, the Russian Ambassador in Serbia and Montenegro, and Mrs. Ana Karina, the famous French actress.

While talking to Mr. Kusturica, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II commended the organization of the Film Festival. Our famous director Mr. Emir Kusturica had the honour to officially open this years FEST.
