ROYAL COUPLE VISIT HISTORICAL
ARCHIVE OF BELGRADE
1 March 2006 – Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II
and Crown Princess Katherine visit
the Historical Archive of Belgrade
and discovered the working
conditions in this important
cultural and educational
institution.
Professor Branka Prpa PhD the
director of The Archive, Professor
Biserka Gruber PhD and Mr. Zoran
Djordjevic archivist welcomed Their
Royal Highnesses along with Mr.
Dragomir Acovic a member of the
Advisory Bodies to the Crown.
During Their Royal Highnesses
visit to the archive, Professor
Branka Prpa PhD director of the
archive presented the Crown Prince
and Crown Princess and Mr. Acovic
the legacy exhibition prepared by
the Historical Archive of Belgrade.
Their Royal Highnesses also had
the pleasure to visit the depository
of the archive and discovered some
very important documents from the
last two centuries and the Kingdom
of Yugoslavia.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander expressed his admiration
for the work of all the Historical
Archive of Belgrade employees and
thanked them for preserving the
history of the Serbian capital.
