The office of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Aleksandar would like to inform media that His Royal Highness has sent the Yugoslav National Basketball Team the following message:

I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the members of the Yugoslav National Basketball Team, Management and Yugoslav Basketball Federation for your sporting achievement. We are all proud of it, but only you deserve the credit. Such events are remembered for a long time and become part of our history, the part we would like to see happening more often.
