ROYAL COUPLE GAVE GIFTS TO OVER 1000 CHILDREN

Belgrade, 19th April 2006 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine organized a reception at The White Palace for more than 1000 children from all over Serbia. Their Royal Highnesses celebrated the upcoming happiest day for all Christians, Easter.

Speaking about the importance of Easter, the Crown Prince emphasised that we have to preserve our tradition, and that the children His Highness welcomed today are looking for our love not only today, before Easter, but each and every day. “I wish you happy holidays from this Palace. I am also looking forward to seeing you here and I want you to know that you are always welcome”.

Princess Katherine emphasized the love that she and The Crown Prince have for all the children of Serbia is great, and that the gifts from HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation are just a small symbol of that love.

His Grace Bishop of Sabac Lavrentije also greeted the children with a speech about Easter, and gave his blessing to all the participants.

Every child received a present provided with the assistance of numerous donators and friends from Greece, and donators from Serbia: Soko Stark, Chipita, Frikom, Paracinka, Chips, Sugar factory of Sajkaska, Popovic, Ishrana Product, Art Ival, Ada Commerce, Herba d.o.o, Mleko Product, Alexandria, Knjaz Milos, Coca Cola, Colour Press Group, Icarbus, MUP, and Balonmarketing.
