CLUB
Belgrade, 28th April 2006 – His
Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II attended last night the
celebration of the first anniversary
of the Royal Fencing Club
“Karadjordje” from Pancevo.
The members of the club presented
a report about their achievements to
Crown Prince Alexander II. His Royal
Highness awarded new members
diplomas. The representatives of the
Royal Fencing Club “Karadjordje”
presented a program orientation of
the Club “Show your strength in the
fencing field, not on the street or
in the family”. This program was
prepared for the pupils of
elementary and high schools.
“Fencing is a noble, chivalric
sport and I am honoured that a year
ago you approached me with the
request to name this club after the
great Karadjordje, the founder of
the Dynasty. I was amazed when I
found out that you have achieved so
much and won more than 20 awards in
domestic and international
competitions”, the Crown Prince said
and added, “Everyone is well aware
of the importance of sport training
for the children. Everyone who
spends free time training instead of
being on the street has made a good
decision. “
