Belgrade, 18th May 2006 – His
Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II visited Royal Air Club
“Hawk” in Lisicji jarak, near
Belgrade today where he has been
informed about the current
activities of this sports club.
The Crown Prince was welcomed by
Mr. Nikola Jacimovic President of
the Club, who informed His Royal
Highness about current preparations
for the upcoming national and
international competitions. During
the presentation of the airplanes
used in this club, Crown Prince
Alexander II saw models of various
airplanes constructed by members of
of “Hawk”, and received more
information about flight and
parachuting courses for high school
students that are organized in this
sports club. In an informal
conversation with leading personnel
of the Royal Club, HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II expressed his
satisfaction with everything that
was presented to him in Lisicji
jarak.
“I am glad to hear about all the
current and forthcoming activities
that you are organizing in this
sports club. Flight and parachuting
courses for our youth are specially
valuable and attractive programmes
that will surely bring a lot of
attention. It is necessary to do
everything possible in order to get
children off the streets into the
sports clubs. I am grateful for all
your efforts in order to take our
youth into the sky instead of the
possible darkness that could be
waiting for them on the street”,
stated Crown Prince Alexander II
addressing the members of the Royal
Air Club “Hawk”.
