THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES WITH VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF SLOVENIA AND OUR COUNTRY

Belgrade, 25th May 2006 – Their Royal Highnesses Alexander II and Princess Katherine met today in the Royal Palace on Dedinje with our national women volleyball team and national team of Slovenia.

During the friendly and warm conversation, representatives of the volleyball teams of two countries emphasized their gratitude to Their Royal Highnesses on their hospitality and used the occasion to give to TRH a special present: volleyball ball with signatures of all the team members from the both countries.

“I am glad that national team of Slovenia joined our female volleyball team and came to the Royal Compound on Dedinje. Slovenia is the country that we have to take as an example and I want to use this opportunity and congratulate to Slovenia their joining to European Union”, emphasised Alexander II and added:

“I am extending my best wishes to you in your sports competitions. Sport is extremely important for the development of young people, and also the right way to represent your country abroad. You, as national team members know that very well.”
