BARIC TRAGEDY - HRH ALEXANDER II EXTENDS CONDOLENCES FOR THE LOSS OF LIFE

Belgrade, 30. May 2006 – His Royal Highness Alexander II extended his deepest condolences to H. E. Zoran Stankovic Minister of Defence and to the families of the workers who perished in the accident that occurred in the factory “Prva iskra – namenska” in Baric.

“It was with great sadness I received the information about tragedy in factory “Prva iskra“in which three workers lost their lives. I am expressing my deepest condolences to you and to the families of those who died in the explosion. To those injured in the accident I wish fast recovery and their return to their families and their jobs“, wrote Alexander II in his letter to H. E. Zoran Stankovic Minister of Defence.

According to the latest data, three persons perished and three were wounded in the Baric explosion that occurred yesterday in the afternoon, but the fear of more casualties remains.
