MEDIA RECEPTION AT THE WHITE PALACE

Belgrade, 31 May 2006 – His Royal Highness Alexander II organized tonight a reception in honour of the media at The White Palace. During the traditional annual gathering with correspondents, directors and editors of Serbian media, Alexander II called thanked the media for coming and for being objective and fair.

“Seven days ago, when I gave the statement during the press conference about Constitutional Parliamentary Monarchy, I mentioned the need better image of Serbia. Together we can work for a better image. The media are the best ally that every country should have. I appeal to you work in the interest of Serbia. To help improve image of Serbia domestically, and abroad. Let The Royal Palace be your meeting point as well, open for anyone who wishes good for Serbia. Thank you all for coming this evening, it is a pleasure to see you“, emphasized His Royal Highness addressing the media representatives.

More than 160 media guests attended the media reception and among them they were many distinguished directors, editors and journalists from daily’s, weekly and monthly newspapers and magazines, news agencies, electronic media and PR agencies.
