YOUNG TALENTED MUSICIANS PERFORM AT
THE WHITE PALACE
Belgrade 1st June, 2006 – Their
Royal Highnesses Alexander II and
Princess Katherine in cooperation
with Ministry of Education and Sport
of Serbia organized at the White
Palace a Royal Concert of the young
talented musicians from ballet and
musical schools throughout Serbia.
The most talented children of
Serbia prepared an hour long
spectacle performing most popular
compositions from Straus, Paganini,
Scarlatti, Gershwin and other famous
composers. The students from various
musical schools proved their
achievements in national and
international competitions.
“The White Palace has always been
and will always be open for youth.
Our youth is our future and they
deserve all the help they can get.
Young talented musicians are the
best ambassadors of Serbia in the
world. They can bring a better image
to Serbia, and that is what we need
now“, emphasised HRH Alexander II.
After the concert, HRH Alexander
II and HE Slobodan Vuksanovic the
Minister of Education and Sport in
the Serbian Government gave special
diplomas of merit for artistic
achievements and musical talent.
