HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II OFFICIAL EIGHTIETH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES INVITED

London 15 June 2006 - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II invited Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine to attend the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral to celebrate Her Majesty's 80th birthday and His Royal the Duke of Edinburgh 85th birthday.

Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh were accompanied by members of the British Royal Family. Also present were the Prime Minister, leaders of the Opposition, Government Ministers, Diplomats and leaders of Religious Faith communities of the United Kingdom. In addition, along with guests 100 members of the public were drawn from a ballot.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had invited Their Royal Highnesses to attend her private birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle 21 April 2006.
