A MAJESTIC EVENING OF HOPE

Fremont (Silicon Valley) California 31st July 2006 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, in partnership with the Niles Rotary Club, Wheelchair Foundation, The Group Seven Children's Foundation, and Peja Stojakovic Children's Foundation  hosted during the weekend a Majestic Evening of Hope, fundraiser at the Fremont Marriott Hotel .

The aim of the event was to benefit the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, Patron HRH Crown Princess Katherine which will send wheelchairs and medical supplies to all parts of Serbia regardless of ethnicity or religion.

Beside Their Royal Highnesses other distinguished guests were Mr. Kenneth Behring the founder of the Wheelchair Foundation, Vlade Divac, former NBA All-Star and Peja Stojakovic NBA All-Star. The special keynote speaker of the evening was Mr. Rick King past Rotary International President, Mr. Chris Lewis who is Jerry Lewis' son and vice-president of Public Education for the Wheelchair Foundation and he was M.C. for the event.

This was a rare opportunity to participate and enjoy a lovely evening with very special people that have gathered together to support a noble cause.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. While commenting on the conditions in Serbian medical system he pointed out that Serbia has excellent doctors and nurses who desperately need better equipment.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine emphasized that there is a brighter future coming for disabled children and people of Serbia and added:

"I'm thankful to all people who have big hearts that gathered here tonight and showed their support. This is the night for the people who give and fulfill their promises. "

Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakovic pointed out that this was a great opportunity to help disabled persons in Serbia since this is the right time to give a hand to those in need.

The event in Fremont near San Francisco was another contribution to endless efforts of Their Royal Highnesses and their humanitarian endeavors in order to help people of Serbia who suffered more than enough in last few decades.

Their Royal Highnesses will continue their humanitarian mission in Belgrade organizing a Humanitarian Basketball Game on the 5th of August 2006 and in Chicago organizing another charity event in September 2006.
