CROWN PRINCE CONGRATULATES NATIONAL WATER POLO TEAM

Belgrade, 7th August 2006 - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to the President of the Water Polo Federation of Serbia and Montenegro Mr. Velibor Sovrovic on the occasion of the great success that our team achieved in the final game of the World league. In the match against the national team of Spain, that took place in Athens, our team won the tournament (6:4).

“It was with great pleasure to watch last nights game of our team against Spain that you had in Athens. I would like to congratulate you sincerely on the World League Trophy that you won and to wish you all the best in the upcoming tournaments and competitions. By winning the Spanish team in the final match of the Fifth World League you proved that water polo is a sport with tradition in our country, and that the right people are at the head of our sportsmen”, emphasized Crown Prince in his letter to the President of the Water Polo Federation.
