CROWN PRINCE RECEIVES MERCEDES VITO VAN FROM
DAIMLERCHRYSLER
FOR HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION
Belgrade 17 August 2006 - His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II received today on behalf of his wife HRH Crown Princess
Katherine a new Vito Mercedes van for the activities of the HRH Crown
Princess Katherine Foundation. Mr. Jorge Leuschner CEO of DaimlerChrysler in
Serbia presented the keys of the new vehicle to HRH Crown Prince Alexander
II.
His Royal Highness extended his gratitude to Mr. Jorge
Leuschner and DaimlerChrysler for their generous gesture and said that “the
present gives more operational capabilities to the Foundation”:
“With this fantastic van we will be able to distribute
more help to the people in our country, and we will be able to react
promptly when situations require. I have to say that this is a great new
motivating factor for all of us who are involved in humanitarian work”,
stated the Crown Prince.
Mr. Leuschner emphasised that DaimlerChrysler highly
appreciates all the efforts of Their Royal Highnesses and announced that
cooperation between Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and
DaimlerChrysler will continue.
