EUROPEAN WATER POLO CHAMPIONSHIP

Belgrade 31 August 2006 - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to the organizers of the European water polo Championship that opened tonight Belgrade.

"I am proud that Belgrade is the host of the European Water Polo Championship. The Serbian people like water polo and you will everyone exceptionally hospitable and dedicated to success of this high class competition.

I am sure that national teams from the 12 participating countries will give their best in swimming pools of Belgrade.

On the behalf my wife Princess Katherine and our sons Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander I would like to wish you a successful competition", wrote HRH Crown Prince Alexander in his letter to Mr Nenad Manojlovic president of the Executive Board of the European Water Polo Championship.
