CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SPANISH NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM

Belgrade 3 September 2006 - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to HE José Riera Siquier ambassador of Spain in Serbia, and to the National Basketball Team of Spain on the occasion of winning the title of the World Champion:

“It was a true pleasure to see the performance of the National Basketball Team of Spain in the final match of the World Championship versus the National Team of Greece. Your Excellency, I would ask you to kindly send my warmest congratulations to all members of the Spanish National Team on the occasion of their first World Champion title. I hope that soon Serbia will have the chance to play the match with Spanish players who has shown their sportsmanship and team spirit winning today in Japan”, wrote HRH Crown Prince Alexander in his congratulations to HE José Riera Siquier.
