GREAT HUMANITARIAN DELIVERY OF THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES
TO
THE NOVI SAD CHILDREN HOSPITAL
Belgrade 5 September 2006 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine visited Novi Sad today and
delivered valuable medical equipment and humanitarian help from the NICU
(Neonatal Intensive Care Units) Project to the Children Hospital.
During their visit to Novi Sad, Their Royal Highnesses
delivered to the Children Hospital of the Clinical Centre necessary medical
apparatus that will provide higher level of the health protection to mothers
and new born babies. Number of portable neonatal monitors, pulse
oxymo-meters, infusion pumps as well as defibrillator and transport
incubator were delivered to the Hospital.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and
Princess Katherine emphasised their gratitude to the great Greek donors and
people of good will from all over the world who supported Foundation of HRH
Princess Katherine endeavours. NICU Project was supported by all the
Lifeline Offices in Athens, London, Chicago, and New York. It helped
commissioning Intensive Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Serbian hospitals
with total value of 750.000 Euros.
Their Royal Highnesses also visited Government of
Vojvodina Region where they have met with the President of Regional
Government Mr. Bojan Pajtic and Health Secretary of Vojvodina Mr. Milos
Lucic, who emphasised their gratitude to Their Royal Highnesses for their
constant humanitarian efforts.
Royal Couple visited Children Safe House – specialised
institution for domestic violence under age victim’s protection and
Humanitarian Foundation Privrednik (Patron HRH Prince Peter).
