RECEPTION FOR THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE 10th CONGRESS OF
ANAESTHESIOLOGY
Belgrade 5 October 2006 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted a reception in
honour of the participants of the 10 Congress of Anaesthesiology at the
White Palace.
"It is a great honour for my wife Crown Princess
Katherine and I to warmly welcome the participants of this congress. The
fact that your congress is organized for the tenth time in a row speaks for
itself. Meeting such as this one very are good, especially for Serbia which
is in a desperate need for new information's regarding the exchange of
information and implementation of new medical techniques. There are a lot of
people who are not aware of the importance of anaesthesiology “emphasized
Crown Prince Alexander II in his address to the participants of the
Congress.
Reception was also attended by great expert in the field
of anaesthesiology Sir Peter Simpson, President of the European Society of
Anaesthesiology www.euroanesthesia.org.
More than 250 doctors are participating this year 10th
Congress of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine of Serbia (in memory
of Colonel Sever Kovacev, the first Serbian expert in this medical area)
that is taking place in Belgrade from 4-7 October
