RECEPTION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AT THE ROYAL PALACE

Belgrade, 8 October 2006 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine organized a reception for people with disabilities today at The Royal Palace. Mr. Kenneth Behring founder of the “Wheelchair” Foundation  was present.

The Representatives of Paralympics Committee, Unions and Associations of the people with disabilities attended the reception from all over Serbia.

The Royal Couple expressed their gratitude to Mr. Kenneth Behring and his “Wheelchair” Foundation and to our famous sportsmen Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakovic who attended a fundraiser in San Francisco and made the humanitarian delivery of 280 wheelchairs possible.

The Representatives of the Unions and Associations for persons with disabilities thanked Crown Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess Katherine and Mr. Kenneth Behring for their efforts and the wonderful gifts.
