HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR AND PRINCESS KATARINA
AT CEREMONY OF LAYING TO REST  SAINT EMPEROR  UROŠ’S REMAINS

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar and Crown Princess Katarina yesterday attended the ceremony of laying to rest Saint Emperor Uroš’s  remains,  which were brought from the Cathedral Church in Belgrade to the Monastery  Jazak at Fruška Gora. Accompanying  the Crown Prince and his wife were H.R.H. Prince Vladimir, the son of H.R.H. Prince Andrej, and his wife Princess Brigita.

The relics of Emperor Uroš were kept originally at the Monastery Jazak , but were transferred to the Cathedral Church in Belgrade during the Second World War in order to be  protected from sacrilege.

Their Royal Highnesses and the members of the Family were also present at the Holy liturgy celebrated at the Monastery Jazak by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle, together with the Right Reverend Bishop Vasilije of Srem, priests, monks and deacons.
