POSTHUMOUS DECORATION TO ARCHITECT PESIC
Belgrade 9 October 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II has posthumously decorated eminent Architect Branko Pesic with
the Order of the White Eagle 1st Class for his exceptional merits.
“The death of Professor Branko Pesic represents a heavy
loss for the nation. Not only was he a great scientist and a Proto-Master of
the Saint Sava Cathedral in Belgrade, but even more important he was a man
of remarkable personal qualities” stated the Crown Prince.
Architect Pesic died on Tuesday 3 October 2006 in Italy.
The funeral will take place on the Central Cemetery in Belgrade on Tuesday
10 October at 3 p.m.
