CONGRATULATIONS TO JANKO TIPSAREVIC
Belgrade, 9 October 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown
Prince Alexander II sent his warmest congratulations to the young Serbian
tennis player Janko Tipsarevic for his victory in the most important tennis
tournament of his career so far.
“This magnificent success once again confirmed the
undisputable quality of our young tennis star. Janko is a bright light in
Serbian and international sport and I sincerely expect him to reach the
highest peaks of tennis” said Crown Prince and added he will be looking
forward for more positive news about Tipsarevic in the days to come.
Janko Tipsarevic won his most important challenge so far
in Mons, Belgium on Sunday 8 October. In the final game, he prevailed over
Alex Bogdanovic, a Belgrade-born tennis player. This victory will provide
him the highest position on the ATP list so far, where Tipsarevic will be
ranked around 80th place.
