CROWN PRINCE VISITS SENSOR ROOM CENTRE FOR AUTISM

Belgrade, 23 October 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander in the presence of Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic Deputy Mayor of Belgrade officially opened the Sensor Room in the Centre for Autism in Belgrade today.

The funds for the project were raised during the Humanitarian Fashion Show that was organized by The Royal Couple at The White Palace on 14 February 2006. The project for the acquisition of the Sensor Room equipment is to improve sensor capabilities of autistic children who are patients at the Centre. As an addition to this important donation to the Centre for Autism His Royal Highness delivered a vehicle that will be used by the Institution.

“For more than 16 years my wife and I help those in need and children need a lot of help. We owe it to the children they are our future. We all have a special responsibility for children with special needs, and amongst them are autistic children” – stressed Crown Prince Alexander in his speech.

Beside His Royal Highness and Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic the opening was also attended by Mrs. Ljiljana Lucic Secretary for Social work of the City of Belgrade Council, and Mrs. Vesna Mandic Director of the Fashion Agency “Fabrika” who was among other people with big hearts helping this humanitarian endeavour.
