FUNDS FROM FASHION SHOW AT THE WHITE PALACE
CROWN PRINCE VISITS SENSOR ROOM CENTRE FOR AUTISM
Belgrade, 23 October 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown
Prince Alexander in the presence of Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic Deputy Mayor of
Belgrade officially opened the Sensor Room in the Centre for Autism in
Belgrade today.
The funds for the project were raised during the
Humanitarian Fashion Show that was organized by The Royal Couple at The
White Palace on 14 February 2006. The project for the acquisition of the
Sensor Room equipment is to improve sensor capabilities of autistic children
who are patients at the Centre. As an addition to this important donation to
the Centre for Autism His Royal Highness delivered a vehicle that will be
used by the Institution.
“For more than 16 years my wife and I help those in need
and children need a lot of help. We owe it to the children they are our
future. We all have a special responsibility for children with special needs,
and amongst them are autistic children” – stressed Crown Prince Alexander in
his speech.
Beside His Royal Highness and Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic
the opening was also attended by Mrs. Ljiljana Lucic Secretary for Social
work of the City of Belgrade Council, and Mrs. Vesna Mandic Director of the
Fashion Agency “Fabrika” who was among other people with big hearts helping
this humanitarian endeavour.
