AWARDS
DELIVERED TO THE BEST EXHIBITORS OF 44th international furniture fair
Belgrade, 16 November 2006 - TRH Crown Prince Alexander
II and Crown Princess Katherine organized a reception in honour of the
participants of 44th Belgrade International Furniture Fair at The White
Palace, where awards to the best exhibitors were delivered.
The Belgrade Furniture Fair is one of the biggest, and
one of the most important Fairs in furniture manufacturing in this part of
the Europe and it is ranked among the four most important Belgrade Fair
exhibitions.
During the reception, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and
Mr. Andjelko Trpković, general manager of Belgrade Fair, awarded the Golden
Key and diplomas to the best exhibitors.
“The theme of the Fair this year is the World. That is
exactly what Serbia needs, and what we all are missing. Serbia used to be a
part of the world, and I’m convinced that if we all work hard, we will
successfully return our country where it belongs. I am sure that Serbia has
potential to become one of the leading countries in the region”, emphasized
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II addressing the guests at The White Palace.
The guests were also greeted by Mr. Andjelko Trpković,
and Prof. Dr Milan Nešić, president of the jury of the Fair. The reception
was attended by the Ambassadors of countries partakers of the Fair.
Out of 500 exhibitors at the Fair, 150 are foreign
companies from 27 countries. Apart from traditional exhibitors from Italy,
Austria, Germany and Slovenia, companies from Greece, Poland, Denmark,
Turkey and Sweden are expected to draw a lot of attention this year. The
number of international exhibitors proves that this Fair falls into the
category of the most important European fairs, fact that significantly
influences the quality and diversity of the exposed products. The Fair
closes on November 19.
