CONGRATULATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY

Belgrade, 19 November 2006 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended congratulations for the International Children’s Day to Ms. Ann-Lis Svensson, Area Representative of UNICEF Serbia and to Mrs. Nevena Vuković-Šahović, President of Children Rights Centre, Belgrade.

“On the occasion of November 20, International Children’s Day, I would like to thank you and your staff for all the efforts you have made to improve the quality of life of children in our country.

My wife and I strongly support all hard work aiming at improving the children’s rights and well being, and we believe that joint action taken by local and international agencies, governmental institutions and citizens can bring us closer to this goal”, said Crown Prince in his letter.
