HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EXTENDS SUPPORT TO
AGENCIES THAT DEAL WITH HIV/AIDS

Belgrade, November 30 2006 – On the occasion of the World Aids Day HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his strongest support regarding the work of AIDS prevention agencies to Mr. Rastislav Vrbensky, UN Theme Group Chair on HIV/AIDS, and Dr Aleksandar Bojović, National office for HIV/AIDS Coordinator.

“There is no doubt that only joint efforts of referent international organizations and local actors could bring success in this difficult struggle.

Serbia is no exception regarding the serious threats that HIV/AIDS pandemics impose on the society, and I sincerely believe that continuous support of all UN Agencies in our country will help our medical doctors and other professionals to face these challenges in the best way possible,” – His Royal Highness said in his letter.
