THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT “CROWN OF SUCCESS” CEREMONY, AND
OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “BORDERS”
Belgrade, 15 December 2006 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II
and Crown Princess Katherine participated at the “Crown of Success” ceremony
organized in the Belgrade City Hall and at the opening of the exhibition Borders
in the gallery of the Archive of Belgrade.
The Crown of Success is an award given to the two best
graduates of Belgrade University. Valentina Cvetković from the Faculty of Law,
and Borko Kovačević, from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, were awarded
with Rolex watches as a prize for successful studies and incentive to pursue
successful careers. Petite Genève, importer of Rolex watches in Serbia, is the
sponsor, while the jury is consisted of three professors of Belgrade University,
professor Marija Bogdanović from the Faculty of Philosophy, professor Bogdan
Djuričić, dean of the Medical Faculty, and professor Vera Dondur, from the
Faculty of Physical Chemistry, HE Ambassador of Switzerland Mr. Wilhelm Meier,
and one representative of Petite Genève. The awarded students were very honoured
by the presence of TRH and insisted on being photographed with the Royal Couple.
Afterwards Their Royal Highnesses attended the opening of the
exhibition Borders in the gallery of the Archive of Belgrade. The exhibition was
opened by Mrs. Ružica Djindjić, widow of former Serbian Prime Minister Zoran
Djindjić and Mrs. Branka Prpa, director of the Archive of Belgrade. The opening
