ROYAL COUPLE VISITS HEALTH AND SOCIAL CENTERS IN BRUS AND
KRUŠEVAC
Belgrade, 12 January 2007 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and
Crown Princess Katherine visited the primary health centre in Brus, health
centre in Kruševac, and home for children without parental care Jefimija in
Kruševac, and delivered aid provided by HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation.
In Brus, TRH delivered haematology analyzer and bed linen to
Dr. Zoran Šljivić, director of the primary health centre. This is one in the
series of donations that HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation has provided
for this centre. In previous five years, the Foundation has donated, among other
things, a medical vehicle and two EKG apparatus.
Mayor of Brus Mr. Milutin Jeličić welcomed TRH donation and
thanked them on behalf of citizens for never forgetting them.
Their Royal Highnesses delivered one incubator and bed linen
to Dr. Vojkan Kulić, director of Kruševac health centre. This is the fifth
incubator that HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation donates to this centre,
beside other equipment donated in the past.
At the end of their visit to Brus and Kruševac, TRH visited
the home for children without parental care Jefimija in Kruševac, where on
behalf of children director Ms. Dobrila Arsić received clothes, shoes, school
material, toys and food.
Everywhere they went, Their Royal Highnesses were warmly
welcomed, but the children were, as always, the most cheerful and happiest. HRH
Crown Princess Katherine thanked everyone for receiving them so well, and
promised further donations. |
