THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES ACTIVITIES ON SAINT SAVA DAY
Belgrade, 27 January 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine visited today three Belgrade
schools on the occasion of celebrating Saint Sava, the school Patron’s day.
Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine
visited today the oldest Serbian Music School “Mokranjac” where they
participated in the official program presented by the students of the school.
The Royal Couple then visited the Elementary school “Nikola
Tesla” in Rakovica and attended the school ceremony.
The visiting of the Schools ended in the Elementary school
for children with learning disabilities “Dusan Dugalic“. On this occasion Their
Royal Highnesses delivered toys and school accessories to the children a
donation HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation.
“Saint Sava’s name is written in gold in the history of our
people. Through the centuries all generations kept the memory of him with love,
respect and gratitude like we do today” – said Crown Prince in his speech in
front of the students and the teachers of Belgrade schools.
On the occasion of Saint Sava Day, The Royal Couple donated
history books to the school libraries of the 40 least developed schools in all
Municipalities in Serbia. |
