HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE RECEIVED ST. SAVA AWARD

Belgrade 27 January 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended the ceremony of the St. Sava Academy at the Sava Centre.

The Minister of Education and Sport of the Republic of Serbia HE Slobodan Vuksanović awarded HRH Crown Princess Katherine with the special St. Sava award for all her humanitarian work and endeavours.

The attendees had the pleasure to enjoy a programme performed by the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Children’s Choir “Čarolija”, Mr. Sanja Ilić and “Balkanika”, Choir “Obilić”, Ms. Sladjana Milošević and many others.

Afterwards HE Slobodan Vuksanovic, Minister of Education and Sport delivered the awards in the presence of Prime Minister Vojislav Koštunica and many other dignitaries.

Beside HRH Crown Princess Katherine, Mr. Zdravko Šotra, movie director, Mrs. Alisa Marić, chess master, Mr. Antonije Pušić, musician, Prof. Milica Orlović, teacher, Mrs. Irena Stefanović, teacher, Mrs. Snežana Obadović, school policewoman and Father Ljubodrag Petrović were also awarded for their activities during the last year.
