FASHION SHOW IN AID OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Belgrade, 14 February 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine in cooperation with Mrs.
Radmila Hrustanović, Deputy Mayor of Belgrade prepared tonight at The White
Palace a humanitarian fashion show organized by Fashion Agency Fabrika.
Funds raised through ticket sales will be used for the
acquisition of equipment for the rehabilitation of disabled children.
This year’s Fashion Show featured the latest collection of
haute couture by Raffaella Curiel, famous Italian designer who received many
prizes and honours for her work, and Serbian distinguished designer Verica
Rakočević, who is one of our foremost representatives of the fashion industry
worldwide.
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II welcomed guests
and expressed his satisfaction with the humanitarian effort that citizens of the
Serbian capital showed tonight:
“My wife and I have been helping as much as we can those who
need help for over 15 years. Children need our help. Once again, you have proved
that people in Serbia have a big heart”, stated HRH Crown Prince Alexander II in
his speech.
Mrs. Hrustanović thanked everyone for coming and praised
their decision to spend this evening in The White Palace. “You are the big heart
of Belgrade, You are true citizens of Belgrade”, Mrs. Hrustanović said in her
addressing at the opening of the show.
Mrs. Verica Rakočević and Mrs. Gigliola Castellini also
thanked everyone for coming and praised the organizers for working for such a
noble cause. |
