CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II BESTOWS ORDER TO HOLINESS PATRIARCH PAVLE

Belgrade, 15 February 2007 – On this holy day of the Presentation of the Lord, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II conferred upon His Holiness Archbishop of Peć, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac, and Patriarch of Serbia Pavle the Grand Cross of the Royal Order of the Star of Karadjordje for his exceptional merits as the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and for his work to the wellbeing and benefit of the people. At the same time, His Royal Highness expressed his gratitude for the prayers and support from His Holiness, and the good grace with which he accepted this high order of the Crown.
