WORLD CARDIOLOGY LEADERS VISITS ROYAL PALACE

Belgrade, 11 April 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted today a reception in honour of the Third International Cardiology Workshop at The Royal Palace

While addressing the participants of this distinctive medical gathering, which included a great number of medical professors, Crown Prince Alexander II emphasised the following:

“I am proud that my wife, Crown Princess Katherine is one of the Board Members of the Foundation “For Your Heart“, which will help reduce cardio-vascular deceases mortality percentage.

Bearing in mind the hard times that we live in, well aware of the fact that the mortality rate of cardio-vascular diseases is high we truly hope that this workshop will help you to find new knowledge and new techniques.”

The Crown Prince also emphasised that “new techniques should help to treat patients better, faster and more efficiently” and also added that prevention and education of patients and the people is of the greatest importance.

Prof. Dr. Ostojic thanked Their Royal Highnesses for supporting this important workshop as did Prof. Colombo and Prof. Saito who pointed out that since the previous Workshop was such a great success, they worked hard in order to establish some new friendships in 2007.

Besides the many distinguished Professors from the field of cardiology, HE Tadashi Nagai also attended the reception.
