CROWN PRINCE AT THE OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION IN HONOUR OF
BORISLAV PEKIC
Belgrade, 17 April 2007 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II accompanied by Mr. Dragomir Acovic, member of the Privy Council
attended the opening of the exhibition in honour of Mr. Borislav Pekic held at
the Belgrade City Library.
At the beginning of the ceremony Mr. Jovan Radulovic,
Director of the Belgrade City Library welcomed everyone and expressed his
pleasure that the Belgrade City Library, as well as the City of Belgrade, have
the opportunity to present this important exhibition.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II addressed the present and
emphasized: “It is an honour to attend this manifestation in memory of the
everlasting Borislav Pekic, who was a respected advisor of The Crown and who
will be in our memories forever”.
Following the ceremony, Mr. Radoslav Bratic, eminent Serbian
writer had the opportunity to officially open this exhibition.
After the ceremony, all guests enjoyed the exhibition where
books and awards of Mr. Borislav Pekic were presented. Among them was Order of
the White Eagle of the First Degree which was delivered to him by HRH Crown
Prince Alexander II.
Beside Mrs. Ljiljana Pekic, wife of late Mr. Pekic,
representatives of the cultural and public life of the City of Belgrade were
present during the exhibition opening. |
