CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EXTENDED CONDOLENCES REGARDING
THE TRAGEDY IN RAVANICA CAVE
Belgrade, 30 April 2007 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II received with much sadness news about tragic death of four students
and an assistant of the Mining-Geology Faculty of the University of Belgrade,
members of the Association of Speleologists of Serbia.
“This is a very tragic loss of four young lives. I extend
with great sorrow the deepest condolences to the families of those young people
who were exploring the beauties of our country. Sometimes, sadly, even the most
noble endeavours end in tragedy. I hope that the clergy of the Ravanica
monastery, which was closest to the scene, will join us in thoughts and prayers
for these wonderful and dedicated students and their assistant” – emphasized
Crown Prince in his letter. |
