EVENING DEDICATED TO HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE
EXHIBITION AND GREEK MUSIC AT THE PROGRES GALLERY
Belgrade, 3 May 2007 – Mrs. Pigi Lukudi, distinguished Greek
songwriter organized an exhibition of icons prepared by Father Stamatis
Skiliris, famous Greek Icon painter and a concert of traditional Greek music,
dedicated to HRH Crown Princess Katherine took place in the Progres Gallery.
Because of previous obligations abroad Their Royal Highnesses
Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine were not able to attend
these events.
On behalf of Their Royal Highnesses Mr. Dragomir Acovic and
Mr. Dusan Babac, members of The Privy Council attended the concert and the
exhibition opening.
“Please accept my warmest congratulations for the concert Two
droplets of East that you have generously dedicated to Serbian people. Greek
musical evening in Belgrade, in the presence of eminent composer like your self
will once again confirm friendly relationships and cultural traditions between
our two countries” - emphasized Crown Princess Katherine in a greeting letter
read on her behalf by Mr. Dragomir Acovic.
These events were organized with the blessing of His Holiness
Patriarch Pavle of Serbia and in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of
Serbia.
Representatives of the Diplomatic Corps as well as members of
the cultural society of Belgrade were present at these events. |
