THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES VISITED THE AGRICULTURAL FAIR AND
STYLOS COMPANY IN NOVI SAD
Belgrade, 18 May 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander and Princess Katherine, accompanied by Mr. Dragomir Acovic, member of
the Privy Council have visited the city of Novi Sad and toured the International
Agricultural Fair, and were also guests of the Stylos company.
Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Katherine, with Prof. Dr.
Aleksandar Andrejevic, the Director General of the Novi Sad Fair, have visited
the 74th International Agricultural Fair, the biggest event of the Novi Sad
Fair, and the biggest Fair in the field of agriculture, in the Balkans.
“We have a rich and fertile land and very hard-working
farmers. But, just like in other areas, we need constant technological
innovations so that we can produce and export more. I extend my congratulations
on this successful Fair, and I wish many more of them to be held in the future.
I hope that what we have seen today will be put to practice, so that our country
could develop faster, especially in this vital area” – the Crown Prince said in
his speech.
After that, Their Royal Highnesses were guests of the Stylos
Group, a respectable Serbian company, at the invitation of Mr. Bosko Blazic, the
president of the company. Crown Prince Alexander II opened the new printing line
of AMB Grafika, a company that had, with this symbolic gesture, marked 100 years
of existence.
Also included in the visit to the Stylos Group was a meeting
with 250 respectable businessmen from Serbia and the region. A humanitarian
project After 18, was promoted, which will, under the patronage of The
Foundation of Crown Prince Alexander for Culture and Education, help children
without parental care, who are of legal age about to leave the orphanages and be
on their own. Having in mind the results of the Rotary Club of Novi Sad achieved
so far, along with the active participation of the Mathematical Faculty of Novi
Sad and the Stylos Group, the Foundation of Crown Prince Alexander for Culture
and Education will help the young to be on their own, get a job, or enrol into
faculties or colleges.
On this occasion, in the presence of respectable businessmen,
the project was helped by Mr. Bosko Blazic, who will take 3 people of legal age
from the “SOS Children Village” from Sremska Kamenica and find them a job in the
Stylos Group, while the Dean of the Mathematical Faculty of Novi Sad Prof. Dr.
Miroslav Veskovic had announced that a scholarship will be awarded to a former
tenant of the “Children Village”. |
