RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES

Belgrade, 26 May 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Princess Katherine hosted on Friday, 25 May, the traditional annual reception in honour of media representatives, which was held at the White Palace.

“Today, it is neither the time nor the place to discuss about politics, but to talk and think about how we can improve the image of our country. The media are the best ally that each country must have on its side. I appeal to you, please work for the benefit of Serbia. Improve her image abroad. May the Royal Palace also be the place where you will gather, a place open for anyone who wishes this country well. Respect everyone in order to be respected worldwide. Be objective, realistic, and honest”.

The reception was opened by journalist Snežana Dakić – Mikić, and after that, the guests were greeted by the well known journalist and writer, Mirjana Bobić – Mojsilović, in her original style.

Apart from the members of the Advisory Bodies of the Crown, the reception was attended by over 150 media representatives – journalists, editors-in-chief of the most important electronic and print media, foreign journalists, marketing and PR agencies.
